Liam Payne’s $32.2M Estate Goes to Cheryl After His Death

Liam Payne‘s estate has found its administrators.

As a lifestyle expert, I’d like to share an update on behalf of Cheryl, the mother of the late One Direction alum’s 8-year-old son Bear. In the unfortunate event of Payne’s passing, without a will in place, court documents reveal that Cheryl and music industry lawyer Richard Mark Bray will jointly manage his estate, as reported by People magazine.

According to the filing, the estimated value of Payne’s assets in the United Kingdom totaled around 25 million pounds, accounting for outstanding debts and costs.

According to court documents obtained by the BBC, Cheryl (previously known as Cheryl Cole and Cheryl Tweedy) along with Bray have been given temporary control over the finances, but they can’t make large distributions until a full grant is issued. As such, the Girls Aloud member and the attorney are currently unable to disburse any funds from the estate.

Payne died in October at age 31 after falling from a third-story hotel balcony in Argentina.

The medical examination concluded that Payne died due to severe, widespread injuries accompanied by both internal and external bleeding. A postmortem analysis revealed traces of drugs in his system at the time of his fall, prompting investigators to initiate an inquiry into his demise.

At the time of his death, the artist known for “Strip That Down” was in a relationship with influencer Kate Cassidy. She had left South America a few days prior to his tragic accidental fall.
