Alysha Burney’s brother is speaking out.
Following Alysha’s death during her trip to Mexico, Charles Burney, her brother, has requested that fans and internet users refrain from spreading unverified information about Alysha’s demise.
He informed Fox4 that she abstains from using drugs. She was a radiant, content person who valued her life deeply and had exciting plans for the coming year. Her trip to Mexico was to celebrate her birthday. In essence, she was an elegant, sophisticated young woman.
He added, “Online, there’s a wide-reaching misunderstanding, with various claims made without solid evidence. These questionable resources are unreliable and should not be trusted. I want to clarify that my sister has never been involved in circumstances conducive to such allegations.
Charles had previously addressed speculation in an Instagram post confirming Alysha’s passing.
In his statement on March 10, he expressed it as a significant challenge to encounter so many misleading stories attempting to tarnish her reputation. He also made clear that they stand prepared to resort to legal measures against anyone persisting in disseminating incorrect information about her demise.
He went on to say, ‘Many people are concerned about her, and we’ll provide more details shortly, but for now, let’s be patient and refrain from bothering the family. Her memory will endure FOREVER!’
Charles, who was present when Alysha passed away, told Fox4 News that Alysha succumbed to an asthma attack during her sleep on the 2nd of March, while they were on a getaway in Cabo San Lucas. Tragically, this happened just one day before she would have celebrated her 25th birthday.
Alysha boasted a substantial social media presence, with more than 5 million followers on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube collectively, and she ran her own production company called ABurneyProductions based in Kansas City. This company had already completed one film and was actively working on additional projects, as reported by Fox4.
As for my remarkable sibling, Alysha, I’d say she was an unyielding goal-chaser, brimming with creativity, and utterly devoted to making a difference. She proudly earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Digital Media Production and was tirelessly striving for her graduate degree.
He remarked, ‘She generously shared her wisdom and was as transparent as a book regarding her experiences. She will remain deeply cherished, and her influence will endure eternally.’
