Lindsay Arnold hopes that her openness is helping others.
The previous contestant on “Dancing With the Stars,” who has two children, Sage (4) and June (20 months), with her husband Sam Cusick, recently explained her reason for publicly sharing her breast augmentation surgery on social media in January.
Lindsay shared with TopMob News in an exclusive chat that she anticipated receiving a great deal of criticism and various opinions on the matter, primarily negative, but then discovered much positive feedback as well. She expressed her desire for people to understand that she doesn’t let others’ opinions sway her, because it’s her body, her life, and she hopes everyone feels the same way about their own bodies and lives.
The 31-year-old expressed that the surgery was something she deeply desired, purely for her own benefit. She aims to encourage others by showing it’s acceptable to prioritize oneself. It’s not about being selfish, but rather self-care. She hopes this might help diminish some of the negative perceptions surrounding such a procedure.
In the end, Lindsay’s choice to openly discuss her breast augmentation aligns with her general strategy on social media, where she strives to present herself genuinely and completely.
She clarified that her approach to social media has been consistent: being genuine and authentic. She won’t put up a false front or conceal herself. This is simply not in line with her personality, and therefore she’s always made the decision not to pretend or hide behind a mask on social media platforms.
However, what stands out most to me is the prevalence of judging others on social media regarding their choices, their bodies, and their lives. Yet, I wanted to be a person who demonstrates that such judgment will occur but shouldn’t impact your personal decisions and what you believe is best for you.
She underscored the importance of not letting external distractions shake your confidence, instead trusting in what brings you joy.
As a lifestyle enthusiast, I’m not just about spreading positivity digitally; I make it a point to radiate this energy in real life too, particularly by acknowledging and celebrating the incredible women around me, especially fellow moms. This is why I chose to collaborate with Hallmark for Mother’s Day – to express my admiration and gratitude through thoughtful gestures and heartfelt cards.
She shared that she takes great care in ensuring her gifts are meaningful and thoughtful, not just a random pick. She wants the recipient to feel exceptionally special and valued. For this reason, Hallmark has been her go-to choice, as it offers items that are uniquely tailored to each person, which can sometimes be challenging to find.

As a lifestyle enthusiast looking back, I must confess that alongside openly discussing my weight loss journey with Ozempic, I’ve also come to realize that the decision I made to undergo a facelift in 2021 was regrettable.
