Summer should be fun—and so should Mother’s Day.
Lindsay Hubbard is dishing out delightful glimpses of her preparations for celebrating her initial Mother’s Day with her 5-month-old child, Gemma.
The star of “Summer House” explained to TopMob News that he doesn’t have any specific plans for Mother’s Day, as he’s letting his boyfriend, Turner Kufe, handle the arrangements. They’re planning to attend a Mother’s Day brunch somewhere, and Turner seems enthusiastic about making the reservation. As for me, I intend to ask Turner to take care of the morning so I can enjoy an extra half-hour of sleep!
Despite caring for an infant, Lindsay doesn’t seem troubled by organizing events such as Mother’s Day recently.
In her words, “When I became a mother at 38, I found myself becoming more relaxed.” She continued, “This calmness seems to have benefited me – it’s intriguing. I believe this is why I appeared so tranquil throughout the entire season of Summer House. I felt like saying, ‘There’s something greater happening in my life.’
What’s taken Lindsay by surprise the most as a first-time parent is discovering just how strongly she feels the need to protect.
The reality star expressed how wonderful it is to be a mother, declaring she’d do anything for her child,” she glowed. “I hope she flourishes in every aspect of life and finds only joy and no sorrow. I suppose this protective instinct is simply part of being a mom. I can’t imagine these feelings ever fading for me.
She remarked, “It’s stunning to see how your heart seems to grow larger, making space for an abundance of love.
Lindsay also revealed Gemma’s latest milestone.
Last week, she began to chuckle heartily, and it was more of a spontaneous giggle, not exactly controlled. Frankly, I’ve had my fair share of similar giggles too. Once she starts crawling, I’m in for quite an adventure because she seems eager to move around the room at high speed.
Given that Lindsay’s friends and relatives have been flocking to admire Gemma lately, it was only natural for her to collaborate with Air Wick, particularly their Lavender & Chamomile Scented Oil, which happens to be her favorite product.
She mentioned that as a new mother, she frequently welcomes guests into her home. Keeping her house ready to host visitors at a moment’s notice is crucial for her, particularly living in New York. So even if someone says, ‘I’m nearby, I’ll drop by,’ she ensures her Air Wick is always plugged in with her preferred scents.

Lindsay posted a beautiful beach photo from Turks & Caicos, commenting, “We couldn’t have asked for a better babymoon!” (Implying that the trip was perfect as a pre-birth getaway for her and her partner.)
