Line of Duty Star Teases ‘Ballsy, Brave’ Twist Ending in New Thriller Fear

The gripping new thriller series titled “Fear” is now fully accessible for streaming on Amazon Prime Video. In this chilling tale, Line of Duty‘s Martin Compston and Vigil’s Anjli Mohindra portray parents whose peaceful life turns into a nightmare when their downstairs neighbor begins to harass them.

Following some unsuitable remarks towards Mohindra’s Rebecca, neighbor Jan (Solly McLeod) resorts to snooping on the family through their smart gadgets. This leads him to falsely accuse Rebecca and her spouse Martyn (Compston) of child abuse.

As the episodes progress, the atmosphere becomes increasingly intense, and Compston hints that the climax will be both bold and courageous.

Mohindra stated: “Didn’t we have a short timeframe? We only had eight weeks to film three complex episodes. It was truly remarkable, but it was Chadwick who made it so exceptional.

Instead of having a predetermined arrangement, there might have been an unwanted sense of heftiness, potentially burdening one slightly.

“He was just like, ‘I’m just gonna shoot it this way.’ Yeah, it was really brave.”

In addition to Compston, Mohindra, and McLeod, the three-part series also features James Cosmo and Maureen Beattie as Martyn’s parents, Allan and Eileen. Meanwhile, Daniel Portman portrays his brother Brian, while Anneika Rose and Bhav Joshi assume significant roles in other parts of the story.
