Actress Lisa Kudrow, famously known for her role in Friends, has disclosed that she recently stumbled upon a message penned by the late Matthew Perry, which he had hidden inside a prop during filming of the iconic sitcom.
The note was left in the ‘Cookie Time’ cookie jar which can be seen in Monica’s apartment.
Previously, Kudrow shared that Perry presented her with the prop as a parting gift since he found it amusing that she believed it to be a real clock during filming.
But just lately, Kudrow chanced upon a hidden note within it, which she disclosed during her appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show.
She mentioned: “Matthew handed that to me during the conclusion of our last session. A short while ago, I stumbled upon a note he had enclosed for me. Admittedly, I hadn’t yet peeked inside or examined its contents. However, yes, there was indeed a note in there. Somehow, I had overlooked it.
Instead of revealing what Perry had scribbled on the note, she kept it a secret. As Barrymore put it, “Timing is crucial,” and Kudrow agreed wholeheartedly with this perspective.
Last year, Kudrow shared that she’d been revisiting the show Friends, dedicating this viewing to Perry. Earlier on, she had avoided watching it because it made her feel self-conscious about seeing herself on screen, but now, if she focuses on Matthew instead, it becomes acceptable for her.
Lately, she shared that a particularly moving scene from the series finale stood out for her upon re-watching – the moment Phoebe wed Mike on screen.
When Phoebe walked down the aisle at her wedding, beaming with joy, I found myself getting emotional, seeing how contented she was.
She appeared genuinely joyful, which moved me deeply. Truly, her happiness seems well-deserved.”

“She was super happy, and it touched my heart. She really deserves to feel that way.
