It seems that Sony has removed Sackboy from the logo displayed prior to its films within the PlayStation Productions screen.
As a gamer, I’ve noticed that the new animation includes characters from various first-party franchises I love, like Horizon, God of War, Astro Bot, and more. So far, Sackboy was always there with the crew, but it seems he’s not part of the logo in the latest PS Productions film.
In the film adaptation of Until Dawn, unlike usual, Sackboy is noticeably absent, as pointed out by @realradec.
After LittleBigPlanet 3 was removed from service (including its online version), it became impossible to access the millions of user-created levels, as it had been the sole platform for this purpose.
Besides a few free, individual Sackboy outfits that remain oddly accessible on the PlayStation Store, it appears the LittleBigPlanet series has mostly been relegated to the past. The absence of Sackboy from the PS Productions emblem seems like another sign that the series may no longer be in production.
In essence, Sackboy: A Big Adventure is the newest game featuring our lovable protagonist, and it’s definitely worth exploring if you haven’t yet, as it offers a delightful 3D platforming experience.
