Based in Shibuya, the fresh publishing and development company known as C#4R4CT3R has unveiled their upcoming title, “Rain98”. This game falls under the genre of a “lo-fi psycho-thriller romance adventure”. Expected to release on PC via Steam this autumn, it will offer support for languages such as English, Japanese, Korean, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Indonesian, Latin American Spanish, Thai, Brazilian Portuguese, Polish, Russian, and Turkish. Additionally, plans for console versions have yet to be specified.

Rain98 is a lo-fi psycho-thriller romance adventure set in ’90s Tokyo.
Inside a relaxed yet dimly lit apartment, you’re greeted by Reina Amehara, a young woman whose enigmatic and potentially perilous allure sets an intriguing tone. (voiced by Rio Tsuchiya)
Together, you decide you have to perform a strange ritual… to save the world from destruction.
A delightful girl accompanies you, yet she has her challenging moments. It’s important to splurge on Reina’s meals and happiness, making sure she remains content. By all means, avoid any actions that might upset her. Unhappiness could lead to dire consequences.
Your days with her will be sweet, bitter, somewhat scary, and always strange.
