Items, runes, and other changes

LoL patch 14.18 adjusts the following items:

  • Bloodthirster: The Ichorshield is smaller, and the item grants less lifesteal
  • Immortal Shieldbow: The item grants a bigger Lifeline shield to melee characters, but a smaller shield to ranged characters
  • Luden’s Companion: It’s now 50 gold cheaper and grants less Ability Haste, but grants a bit more AP
  • Shadowflame: It grants less AP but has better Magic Penetration and a higher Max Health Threshold. Its penetration for damage-over-time is slightly worse
  • Stormsurge: It grants less move speed but more magic penetration, and its Stormraider health threshold is more forgiving at 25%. Further, its ranged penalty for its Squall passive is now gone

In this latest update, the Fleet Footwork rune undergoes some adjustments again. The healing capacity has been enhanced, yet it imposes a 60% disadvantage on users who employ ranged attacks. To offset this, every user receives a consistent 15% healing from minions. However, the movement speed boost is now divided, offering a 20% increase for ranged users and only a 15% boost for melee combatants.

Furthermore, Riot Games persistently opposes lane swaps, as they’ve significantly boosted the reduction of fortification damage at the 5-minute mark up to an impressive 85%.

Finally, three new skins release with patch 14.18 for the following LoL champs:

  • Janitor Thresh
  • Attorney Azir
  • Crystalis Indomitus Nautilus
