As a long-time fan of the quirky and vibrant world of Lollipop Chainsaw, I can hardly contain my excitement for its upcoming remaster, Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP! The original game was a delightful blend of action, humor, and over-the-top gore that I’ve cherished since it first graced our screens back in 2012.
The popular game “Lollipop Chainsaw” is about to return to the spotlight with its upcoming remaster, slated for release on modern gaming systems and PC in September. Before its debut, developer and publisher Dragami Games have announced that the game will also be made available for older consoles shortly following its release on newer platforms.
The remastered version of Lollipop Chainsaw, titled RePOP, will hit stores for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in November, as announced by Dragami Games (through Gematsu). This updated edition can be downloaded on both systems for $44.99, though there’s no news about a potential physical copy release at this time. Technical specifications for the last-gen port haven’t been disclosed yet, but considering it’s also being released on Nintendo Switch, it’s likely that the game will run smoothly on PS4 and Xbox One hardware.
The game titled “Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP” is set to release on September 12th in the Western regions for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. In Japan and Asia, it will launch on September 25th. The physical versions will hit the shelves in October.
