As a seasoned viewer with a keen eye for quality entertainment, I must say that the upcoming lineup of shows is nothing short of captivating! From the thrilling world of mathematics in “Prime Target” to the high-stakes lives of Miami’s elite women in the new reality series, there’s something for everyone.
When it comes to being on set, Lori Loughlin has a full heart.
Actress from “Full House” appears in the latest police series titled “On Call”, marking her first leading television role following a two-month prison term in 2020 due to her involvement in a nationwide college admissions scam. She expressed that coming back to TV felt wonderful.
As a lifestyle aficionado, I must say that the experience was incredibly empowering and unlike anything I’ve ever encountered before. TopMob News had the exclusive scoop on my thoughts. Being on set was a delight, simply observing the cast and crew at work, taking a step back to watch them meticulously arrange shots, and marveling at their innovative use of body cams, dash cams, and drones.
She expressed that the production was “very attractive” to her, but at the same time, the 60-year-old actress (who appears in the show premiering on Prime Video on January 9, as Lieutenant Bishop alongside Troian Bellisario from Pretty Little Liars and Brandon Larracuente from 13 Reasons Why) also confided that she felt “nervous” when taking on this role.
Initially, I found it difficult to embrace a character unlike any I’ve played before, as it required accessing aspects of myself that are there, but not typically how I navigate life.
However, the former star of “When Calls the Heart”, who has children Bella Rose (26) and Olivia Jade (25) with husband Mossimo Giannulli (61), attributed her co-star Eriq La Salle as being instrumental in helping her portray the police lieutenant convincingly.
Eriq played a crucial role in assisting me with the character, Loughlin stated. He also boosted my self-assurance to fully embrace her being unapologetic, assertive, strong, and decisive – traits that show she’s running the department effectively while demonstrating leadership qualities.
She added, “Once I was able to drop into that, it was great fun.”
The expressions she previously employed to portray her personality mirror the feelings Loughlin expressed earlier this year in her initial significant interview following her guilty plea in 2020 for one count of conspiracy to commit wire and mail fraud, as well as honest services wire and mail fraud, which were related to the college admissions scandal.
In April, she shared with First For Women that she is a blend of strength, gratitude, openness, and kindness. She is robust yet thankful for what life offers, eager to embrace new experiences, and always ready to show compassion.
As you eagerly anticipate the debut of “On Call“, here’s a list of other television series set to premiere soon. Enjoy!
