Lost Records: Bloom and Rage has experienced a delay in its second release, initially planned for March, but the first is still scheduled for release next month. In an updated FAQ by developer DON’T NOD, more details have been disclosed, particularly about the gameplay duration. They estimate that playtime will range from approximately 10 to 12 hours, although this can vary based on individual playing style and the extent of exploration.
This graph probably only includes the time taken for a single gameplay session, rather than all possible choices that could be made. For instance, in the game ‘Life is Strange’, the studio’s debut title, HowLongToBeat indicates that on average it takes 14 hours to finish the main story, and an extra 4.5 hours for those who aim for completion.
As a devoted fan, I’d say that on average, playing through Life is Strange 2 takes around 16 hours for the main storyline, but for those who like to explore every nook and cranny, it can stretch up to 20 hours. With multiple endings confirmed, decisions made in both the past and present have a significant impact on the game’s progression, adding to the total playtime. And let’s not forget the numerous cutscenes and dialogue interactions that are part of this captivating journey – they might just add a few more hours to your gaming experience!
The debut Tape from Bloom and Rage is set to release on February 18th, available on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC platforms. The sequel, Tape 2, follows on April 15th.
