Lost Records: Bloom and Rage Trailer Teases the Abyss

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades under my belt, I must say that the latest trailer for “Lost Records: Bloom and Rage” has piqued my interest immensely. The gritty, realistic portrayal of teenage struggles is something I can relate to from my own experiences back in the ’90s, albeit without the supernatural elements this game seems to be offering.

After much anticipation, a new trailer for “Lost Records: Bloom and Rage” by DONTNOD has been released. Contrary to the somewhat optimistic glimpses of its characters during the summer of 1995 in earlier gameplay, this trailer presents a darker side. Please be advised that it contains depictions of self-harm. You can watch it below.

In the trailer, we find Swann, our main character, getting picked on by another youngster. In a different sequence, Kat encounters a threat, while Autumn displays her fury towards someone called Cory. However, the final moments of the trailer are captivating as they appear to reveal the enigmatic Abyss – a gigantic chasm oozing with mysterious, seemingly malevolent, power.

Beyond the fresh gameplay, it’s confirmed that Milk and Bone are significantly contributing to the soundtrack. They made this known in a press statement, saying, “We’re incredibly excited to reveal our partnership with DON’T NOD for the creation of the original soundtrack for Lost Records.

It’s long been our ambition to score a narrative video game like this, and we’re thrilled beyond words about this partnership. As avid gamers and admirers of previous DON’T NOD productions, it was a privilege for us to imbue the game with our unique character and draw upon our signature melancholic sound.

The game titled “Lost Records: Bloom and Rage” will be released for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC in the year 2025. The first installment, Tape 1, will be available on February 18th, and Tape 2 is scheduled to release on March 18th.
