The open-world, cooperative survival game titled “Lost Skies” is set to debut in Early Access on Steam for PCs on the 18th of April. This announcement was made jointly by the game’s publisher, Humble Games, and its developer, Bossa Studios.
From the outset of Early Access, developers have prepared an engaging adventure brimming with discoveries for you. Your expedition commences in Region 1 (Outskirts), which is made up of stunning floating islands developed by Bossa Studios and the community using Island Creator. You’ll encounter three distinct island types with varying difficulties, featuring diverse wildlife, ancient tech adversaries, and puzzles. As expected, you can construct, personalize, and enhance your own skyship – whether you prefer it as a comfortable solitary retreat or a formidable vessel for your crew.
As a gamer venturing into Outskirts, you’ll encounter the most formidable adversary – the colossal Herald boss, the first mechanical behemoth. This titan will challenge both your ship’s resilience and your crew’s teamwork skills to the limit. The core of the game revolves around crafting, upgrading, and exploration, all woven together in a captivating progression loop. We’re confident we’ve laid a strong foundation, and during Early Access, we’ll continue refining and fine-tuning this experience to ensure it continues to improve and become even more engaging for you.
The game “Lost Skies” is set to grow and evolve during its Early Access phase. This will involve addressing bugs, enhancing performance, and implementing quality-of-life improvements. Additionally, Region 1 will be expanded with additional islands. More enemies and resources will also be introduced to enhance the survival aspect. As we progress, a new region is anticipated along with a wealth of fresh content. This includes intriguing puzzles, design blueprints, unique creatures, and challenging bosses.
