At the event, celebrities are no exception. For a long time, fans have been given glimpses into enduring love stories, such as that of Vanessa Hudgens and Austin Butler, who were together from 2011 to 2020, or shorter-lived romances like Selena Gomez and The Weeknd’s 10-month relationship in 2017.
Regardless, the music festival served as a hotspot for witnessing celebrities’ fashion, friendships, and romantic entanglements – some of which ended prematurely, only to be revived in the arid landscape of California once more.
In the year of 2016, Kylie Jenner and Tyga went to a music festival together, prior to their split in March 2017. However, it was at the very same festival where Kylie later found love with her former partner, Travis Scott, who is now out of the picture.
In 2018, she shared that Coachella was one of his tour destinations in an interview with GQ. He subsequently announced that he was resuming his tour, and given their mutual fondness, she agreed to join him. (Travis is scheduled to headline the Saturday lineup at the 2025 festival.)
