Ah, it seems our dear Make is off to Nobu all by his lonesome! While Natalie and Shayne may not have walked down the aisle together, their love story on the show was as genuine as the pasta at Nobu (and we all know how delicious that can be).

They’ve finally made out of the pods and onto the altar—or have they?
Following an astonishing seventh series of “Love Is Blind” filled with unexpected events, the much-anticipated wedding day finale has arrived. To jog your memory, in the run-up to the big event, three couples were left standing and ready to declare their love: Marissa George and Ramses Prashad, Taylor Krause and Garrett Josemans, and of course, Tyler Francis and Ashley Adionser.
Initially, seven couples ventured into the unknown to test their love, but upon returning from a romantic trip in Mexico and back to Washington, D.C., some couples – namely Alexandra Byrd and Tim Godbee, Monica Davis and Stephen Richardson, as well as Hannah Jiles and Nick Dorka – chose to end their relationships dramatically.
Additionally, it’s important to remember Brittany Wisniewski and Leo Braudy. Despite leaving the event with a smile on their faces, they decided to skip the honeymoon and head to Miami instead. Unfortunately, their relationship didn’t last long after that trip.
To be completely honest, those initial days were nothing short of exhilarating for me! I felt like a bird let loose from its cage, free as a breeze, roaming about with my phone in hand, reminiscing about the fantastic moments I’d experienced. But then, reality started to creep in.
As Leo explained, once they began to settle into reality, they took a step back and reassessed.
After things became more settled, he found himself saying something like, ‘Alright, you’re wearing my ring now. Let’s discuss this situation,’ he continued. Over the course of our journey, we had numerous discussions and eventually agreed that we didn’t foresee our relationship leading to a marriage.’
As for who did go through with their promise of marriage? Keep reading to find out.
Initially, the well-known art dealer proposed to the writer of “Keeping Well” after a love triangle involving Hannah Jiles. However, after a brief engagement, they realized that it was more beneficial for them to remain friends instead.
Previously, Brittany explained to People magazine in an interview with Leo, ‘The connection didn’t develop,’ she said. ‘Initially, we discussed the potential of our relationship, but as time passed during our trip, it became clear that it wasn’t happening. We both acknowledged and accepted this realization amicably. Given our strong communication skills, it was a smooth and respectful process.’
Monica discovered shocking explicit text messages exchanged between her boyfriend Stephen and another woman, which led to an abrupt end of their relationship shortly after they returned from Mexico. Later, when the incident was featured in episode eight, Stephen apologized initially but later posted a message on social media expressing his feelings.
He expressed his hope that nobody’s day was spoiled by his presence on Instagram Stories, Oct. 8. If he did cause a problem, he apologizes and wishes it hadn’t been necessary for you to wake up that day. Ideally, neither of us should have had to start the day. Still, I will continue to care for you just the same.
After Hannah and Nick stepped out of the pods, they experienced a mix of good times and challenges, including some significant disagreements. It’s also worth noting that one person mentioned, “Equal treatment comes when you start contributing equally.
The situation escalated when Hannah chose not to walk down the aisle with him, and for Nick, their split was one of the most painful experiences he’s ever endured.
Since then, Hannah has admitted the show forced her to do some self-introspection.
She shared during the October edition of “The Viall Files” podcast, “I’ve picked up quite a bit, and I’ve realized there are areas I need to focus on. For instance, I am straightforward, which I know already, but my method of expression can be harsh. What I’ve discovered is that how you express things is crucial.
Reflecting on my recent travels, a significant dispute between Alex and me unfolded in Mexico, but upon our return to the bustling city of Washington, D.C., it appeared as though we had weathered the storm. By the time we set foot back on home soil, our bond seemed stronger than ever. To top it off, Tim took the initiative to meet with my father, a heartfelt encounter that I believe has solidified our future together.
After meeting Tim’s family, Alex and Tim had another disagreement, leading to Tim terminating their engagement by stating he didn’t wish for any further contact with Alex. Since that moment, both parties have voiced their thoughts following the breakup, with Alex clarifying that the separation was not a joint decision on their part.
Indeed, you’ve got it straight! While Marissa and Ramses were among the leading pairs tipped for a successful journey this season, Ramses surprisingly decided to cancel their wedding, reconsidering his initial decision.
Marissa expresses her excitement about their upcoming life together, saying ‘We have a bright future in store for us,’ to which her partner replies, ‘I grasp that falling in love involves taking a chance, I get it.’
However, he noted their differences—which have included his stance on the military—may not be enough for them to work through. “After being married and seeing other marriages and hearing from other married people,” he added. “I just don’t think love alone is enough…I think there needs to be other things that are also working.”
Regarding Marissa, despite her efforts to move past their views, when she realized it was all over, she couldn’t hold back tears. “I wish you hadn’t joined this journey,” she says to him. “How could I be so certain? And yet, you aren’t? It’s just awful, I wanted you to pick me,” she lamented about their separation. “This is the most painful day of my life,” she concluded.
As a devoted follower, I’d rephrase that as: From the moment science brought Taylor and Garrett together, it felt like fate. However, there was a minor hiccup when Taylor unknowingly interacted with an ex’s DM (Garrett assured me he had already confirmed his engagement and ended the conversation). Beyond that, their story unfolded much like a chapter from “Love Is Blind,” leading them to say “I do.
Tyler and Ashley rapidly gained popularity among viewers as they showcased their relaxed romance. However, a difficulty arose in their relationship when Tyler revealed he had three children from previous relationships, which Ashley referred to as his “children conceived through sperm donation.” (There’s ongoing discussion online about the extent of his parental involvement, a matter he has not publicly addressed).
Fortunately, Ashley and Tyler managed to overcome that issue and not only restored their relationship, but eventually got married, making them a couple.
Tyler remarks to Ashley, seated beside him post-wedding, “Two months back, we embarked on a journey that has since transformed everything for us.” He continues, “Now, we’re privileged to share the remainder of our lives together.
Regarding Ashley, she’s absolutely thrilled. She expresses, “I can’t wait for the everyday joys with you,” and he replies, “Simply the small things that bring her joy, day by day, week by week, month by month, and over time they accumulate, and before we realize it…
Ashley then guesses, “Kids?” to which he agrees and she confirms, “Yeah I’m fine with that.”
Following a handful of arguments spread across the season, it seemed like Chelsea and Jimmy managed to move past their disputes during a pre-wedding outing at an amusement park, which served as a symbolic healing point for them.
Yet, Jimmy unequivocally communicated his readiness to bring their roller coaster relationship to an end, and with tears in her eyes, Chelsea found herself shocked by his choice to break off their engagement.
On their date, Jimmy confessed to Chelsea, “I’m deeply in love with you and yearn for a committed relationship. However, I fear that things might not work out as planned – but I can’t bear to stand at the altar.
He put it simply, “We’ve boiled it down to a single point of contention, yet there have been around five or six major problems that have deeply affected me emotionally. One of these issues is that Chelsea exposed Jimmy’s past relationship with his female friend.
Following another round of discussions about their past relationships, Chelsea tearfully departed, saying “I had such high hopes for us.

As Clay voiced his reservations about marriage stemming from his perspective on his father’s unfaithfulness, AD offered comfort by emphasizing their resilience as a pair, suggesting that their relationship was strong and thriving.

In the unique season six of our shared journey, it was Amy and Johnny who affirmed their eternal bond by saying “yes” to forever. Their stunning ceremony not only marked a fresh start for them but also effortlessly brought together our families into one harmonious unit. A special moment occurred when my dad warmly expressed to Johnny’s sister that he now feels like he has gained several daughters, which perfectly encapsulates the beautiful blend of our two families.
As for Johnny, he too declared at his reception that his father-in-law was his “new dad.”
They were still married during the reunion episode.
Initially, Brittany and Kenneth’s love affair was vibrant, but when they re-entered reality, their relationship gradually lost its spark.
According to Brittany, things changed significantly when they returned to Charlotte and settled back home. In the pod, their passion and intensity were extremely high. However, this intensity seemed to lessen somewhat when they returned home.
Even though they’re no longer romantic partners, their connection will endure forever, as Brittany stated during the reunion.
The engagement between Laura and Jeramey abruptly ended after Laura discovered that Jeramey had rekindled his relationship with Sarah Ann Bick, another member of their pod, during a social gathering. Following their heated argument, Laura asked Jeramey to leave her alone.
But instead of that, he went off to ride jet skis with Sarah Ann.
At the gathering in March 2024, it came to light that Jeramey had an on-and-off relationship with Sarah Ann for a full year, starting from when they were working together on the show. However, they are no longer together now.
Laura is dating someone else, who she did not identify at the reunion.
During season five, the couple faced several challenges such as Izzy’s initial bond with Johnie Maraist and Stacy’s preference for fine living over paper plates. However, it was Izzy’s deception regarding his financial background that Stacy pointed out as the primary cause for her decision against marriage.
Though Stacy didn’t utter “I do” at the altar, she nonetheless wished to continue the relationship with a heartbroken Izzy.
“We’re at different spots,” he told her. “It really breaks my heart.”
Regarding Stacy, she was grateful to Izzy for helping her open up emotionally, yet she wasn’t completely convinced about their long-term prospects. She stated that being “fairly certain” wasn’t sufficient for her to commit to a lifelong decision.
Izzy is now dating surgical assistant Shelby Webb.
Season five’s sole success story came from arguably its most unlikely pairing.
Following an initial hiccup when it emerged that Lydia was involved with Uche Okoroha, Milton’s fellow pod-resident, before the commencement of the show, it’s worth noting that they were the only couple who managed to maintain their relationship throughout the entire experiment.
Lydia expressed her joy by saying, “Marrying is like my dream finally realized! I’m overjoyed beyond words. With him by my side, I have all that I could ever want. It feels like I’ve found my own little haven – secure and comfortable.
As an analytically-minded engineer, Milton concluded, “The entirety of the evidence pointed towards: this is the correct choice.
For this couple, opposites appeared to be drawn to each other throughout the entire season…that is, until they reached the altar. Noticing Paul’s uncertainty, Micah urged him to express his feelings first, and in the end, Paul declined the offer of marriage.
1) Micah expressed, “I truly feel as though I’m in shambles.” If Paul had desired to wed me, I definitely would have responded with a resounding “Yes, I will!
During the reunion, Paul expressed regret for his remark, made in a private conversation, about finding it hard to picture Micah in a maternal role.
Paul clarified, “It was unjustifiably harsh what I said about her, I believe a more accurate way to express my thoughts would be to say that I don’t envision us in parental roles together.
After wrapping up the film, the pair attempted a brief reunion, but unfortunately, they couldn’t sustain their relationship. Paul clarified that the separation was permanent as he parted ways with Micah during his visit to Arizona.
In the novel “After the Altar“, Paul disclosed that he had begun dating a fresh companion, who took pleasure in exploring new places and appreciated his culinary talents. Later on, he confirmed their relationship on Instagram with eyelash technician Geneva Dunham.
Although Kwame’s mother declined to attend the wedding and some might find his chats with Micah questionable, given their interactions within the pods, Kwame and Chelsea were among the three pairs who exchanged vows by the finale of season four.
At the gathering, Chelsea disclosed that she had recently met her husband’s mother. Meanwhile, Kwame extended an apology to his wife and her relatives, admitting that his conversations with Micah didn’t accurately portray him.
The couple is living in Seattle with their beloved dog Rocky.
It’s said that love can be blind, sometimes requiring a moment or even proposing to another person to understand you’ve chosen incorrectly. This was the case with Zack when he initially got engaged to Irina Solomonova, but their relationship fell apart during a vacation in Mexico.
Following Bliss’ request for another opportunity, they bravely disregarded the statistics and even Bliss’ father’s wishes. Instead, they exchanged their vows at the altar, choosing not to wait for their first dance as a married couple to the song that brought them together in the pods – “I Hope You Dance” by Lee Ann Womack.
Following the broadcast of the final episode, Zack posted a picture of the pair on Instagram accompanied by the caption “Enduring Happiness.
The couple shared in November 2023 that they are expecting their first baby.
Indeed, it feels reminiscent of the magical pairing between Cameron Hamilton and Lauren Speed from Season One – as if their love story was written in the stars!
In the study, the eldest pair – Tiffany who was 36 and Brett who was 37 – still chose to make their vows, despite an unexpected fashion mishap where Brett’s trousers wouldn’t fit correctly on their wedding day. (Big up to Lucia, the seamstress, you’re a hero!)
Since filming wrapped, Tiffany and Brett moved to Portland and are still perfect! Phew!
After SK said “I don’t” at their wedding, he and Raven seemingly parted ways.

Nancy and Bartise experienced one of the more intense weddings from “Love is Blind”, yet it wasn’t due to the bride or groom that things got heated.
In the final episode of the third season, it turned out that while Nancy was eager to get married, Bartise wasn’t quite as certain about their relationship. This unexpected news didn’t go down well with Nancy’s relatives, who openly expressed their disapproval towards Bartise without any apologies.
Regardless of their ups and downs, Bartise and Nancy have managed to keep a rollercoaster friendship going. In his conversation with TopMob, Bartise described it as shifting from being close friends to just casual acquaintances, then back to complete silence, only to return to being friends again.
