Love Is Blind: Why Nick Dorka Didn’t Want to Talk About Sex on Camera

As a lifestyle expert with a keen eye for human dynamics and relationships, I’ve learned that everyone has their own comfort zones when it comes to intimacy, especially in the public eye. Nick Dorka, from Love Is Blind season seven, is no exception. His decision to initially keep certain aspects of his relationship with Hannah Jiles private was a testament to his personal boundaries and upbringing, where such discussions were not commonplace.

Love may be blind—but can also sometimes be a tad bit cautious.

Just in case you’re catching up, Nick Dorka and Hannah Jiles were two of the lucky couples from Love Is Blind season seven who ventured off to a romantic retreat in Mexico following their attempt at love outside the pods.

After landing, Nick confided in Hannah that he wasn’t comfortable discussing the unusual incidents that occur between them in their private space.

Initially, when he was 29 years old, Nick acknowledged that he needed to safeguard his established reputation, but there’s a deeper explanation for his decision that he wishes to share.

Nick explained to Francesca Amiker at TopMob News that he found the topic a bit awkward. He’s not someone who typically discusses such matters, whether with his family, friends, or anyone else, so it made him feel uneasy.

But as Nick as noted, he was able to have a change of heart eventually.

He continued, ‘After tearing down that barrier, I found it straightforward to discuss the matter at hand.’ However, in the heat of the moment, I didn’t open up about those issues.

Nick further elaborated, revealing that his perspective shifted dramatically when he grasped the nature of the experiment’s process.

He went on saying, “I now understand that it’s all right to discuss such matters,” he added, “to accept oneself, to show one’s vulnerability.

Regarding any regrets, Nick mentioned that if he could do things over, he might have handled the explicit aspects of his relationship with Hannah differently. However, they have now reached an understanding on the matter.

Nick clarified, “For a moment, Hannah and I seemed to share the same perspective, but she appeared slightly apprehensive discussing it. However, after a chat, it was more like, ‘We’re both invested in this. Let’s go all out.’

In Netflix, you can currently stream episodes one through six of the seventh season of “Love Is Blind”. Additional episodes will be available starting October 9th.
