Love Island All Stars season 2 release date
ITV officially announced that the special edition of Love Island, featuring returning contestants, will air on your TV screens starting from Monday, 13th January, at 9 p.m.
The confirmation came via social media from the channel itself, as they shared a post penned by their host, Maya Jama.
The invite read: “Dear Islander, as dating royalty, you are cordially invited back to the villa as a Love Island All Star. Dress to impress,” alongside the date and a sign-off by Maya.
How often does Love Island All Stars air?
Love Island All Stars will air every night at 9pm except for Saturdays.
Rather than presenting a new episode, ITV2 plans to broadcast an episode of Behind-the-Scenes Clips, where they will summarize the past week’s happenings and display footage that was not included in the regular program.
On Sundays, it’s anticipated that Love Island Aftersun will make its comeback. During this broadcast, Maya Jama will engage in lively discussions about the happenings in the villa with both a live audience and special invited guests.
Who will be in the Love Island All Stars season 2 cast?
As a die-hard cinema enthusiast, I can’t wait to see who’ll return to the cinematic “villa” for the upcoming season. The cast list hasn’t been officially revealed yet, so stay tuned and let’s find out together!
It’s been whispered that Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, the 2022 Love Island champion with Davide Sanclimenti, might be one of the contestants being considered.
For approximately 18 months following their departure from the villa, Ekin-Su and Davide stayed as a couple, but they ended their relationship contentiously in January 2024.
It’s thought that many of the stars who graced our screens last season won’t return, meaning we’ll miss seeing 25 well-loved personalities during the show’s upcoming episodes.
This group consists of Liberty Poole, Luis Morrison, Hannah Elizabeth, Anton Danyluk, Kaz Kamwi, Toby Aromolaran, and Georgia Harrison.
Last year’s All Stars series champions, Molly Smith and Tom Clare, remain a pair and thus are not eligible, since they continue to reign supreme. Meanwhile, Chris Taylor will be absent as he is already committed to this year’s Dancing on Ice competition, which coincides with the same time slot.
