Lucky Day

Confirmed: The ratings for the fourth episode of Doctor Who season 15, titled “Lucky Day,” have held steady over a week, focusing on the story of Ruby Sunday following her journey alongside the Doctor.

The initial broadcast attracted 1.5 million viewers, but when accounting for all viewings within the required timeframe, it was viewed by approximately 2.802 million people, as reported by Barb.

Nevertheless, these figures represented the smallest weekly audience ratings for the season so far. Specifically, 3.571 million viewers tuned in to The Robot Revolution, followed by 3.004 million for Lux, and 3.23 million viewers for The Well.

The statistics encompass viewers from both BBC iPlayer and BBC One. Each week, new episodes are made available on iPlayer at 8 AM on Saturdays, followed by their broadcast on BBC One later in the day.

On BBC One, Lucky Day took the number one spot for Saturday, May 3rd, and placed third among all channels, with Britain’s Got Talent and The 1% Club on ITV ahead of it. It was the 29th most-viewed program across all channels for that week.

In the latest installment of Doctor Who’s Season 15, titled “The Story and the Engine,” a total of 1.59 million viewers tuned in during its broadcast, leaving only three episodes remaining for viewing.

It’s expected that the viewership for the last episode of The Reality War this season will likely surge higher than previous weeks, since it won’t be available early on iPlayer. Instead, it will be broadcast simultaneously worldwide during the same timeframe as its initial airing on BBC One.

At that specific moment, you’ll have the opportunity to catch that particular episode on cinema screens nationwide in the UK. Fans will be treated to a simultaneous screening of the two-part finale – titled Wish World and The Reality War – where they can enjoy watching them consecutively.

On Saturdays starting from May 17th, catch up with more episodes of Doctor Who! In the UK, you can stream them from 8am on BBC iPlayer, or watch them later on BBC One that same day. For those living outside the UK, enjoy the series on Disney+.
