Luke Newton couldn’t help but show off his diamond this season. 

Approximately a year following the confirmation of the relationship between the “Bridgerton” actor and Antonia Roumelioti in London, they posted an adorable photo of themselves together on their social media platforms.

In his Instagram post on May 9, he shared not only some contemplative pictures of himself, but also a sweet photo of him planting a kiss on Antonia’s cheek while they were snuggled up on a couch at the Dovetale restaurant during the pre-BAFTA TV Awards party hosted by British Vogue and Netflix.

Although neither the actor nor the dancer have made any public statements regarding their relationship, they’ve been spotted together in London lately, even attending the BOSS One Premiere Party that was hosted by David Beckham.

It’s not surprising at all that Luke, aged 32, prefers to maintain a low profile when it comes to his personal life. Given the sudden surge of fame he experienced as the leading actor in Bridgerton’s season three alongside Nichola Coughlan, it’s only natural that he needs some time to adjust.

In an interview with WWD in May 2024, he admitted that he had been finding the situation quite overwhelming. He recalled a moment in Australia where he thought, “I’m making progress, I’m starting to genuinely enjoy it and not feel overwhelmed.” However, when the premiere came around, his feelings changed dramatically, and he confessed that he was far from feeling at ease.

Fortunately, he had Nicola by his side – she was the one who made her debut on the red carpet with boyfriend Jake Dunn this April – to guide him through his recent rise in popularity.

It’s not surprising at all given how strong their connection grew during the production of Bridgerton. Nicola herself couldn’t contain her enthusiasm about their friendship, a bond that some fans hoped would evolve into a romantic relationship.
