Lunar Remastered Collection Announced, Launches in Spring 2025

As a long-time admirer of the enchanting world of Lunar, I can hardly contain my excitement as the Silver Star Story and Eternal Blue remastered collection are set to grace our modern consoles in Spring 2025! Growing up, these games were an integral part of my journey into the vast expanse of Japanese RPGs, and their reemergence has me feeling like I’ve stumbled upon a long-lost treasure chest filled with nostalgia.


The beloved pair of role-playing games from Japan, known as “Lunar: Silver Star Story” and “Lunar 2: Eternal Blue,” are being updated for distribution on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PC platforms. In the story of Lunar: Silver Star Story, we follow a young adventurer named Alex as he embarks on a journey for excitement and riches. However, the emergence of the Magic Emperor brings about unexpected events. On the other hand, Lunar: Eternal Blue unfolds a millennium later, focusing on a character called Hiro. The narrative begins when Hiro encounters Lucia, who is adamant that she needs to be escorted to the Goddess Althena.
