Macaulay Culkin Opens Up About 30-Year Estrangement From Father

Macaulay Culkin is not holding his breath for his father’s apology.

The lead actor from the movie “Home Alone,” currently engaged to Brenda Song and father of sons Dakota (age 3) and Carson (age 2), has disclosed his current relationship status with his dad, Christopher “Kit” Culkin.

Macaulay shared that it’s been approximately three decades since he last talked to him, on the March 30th episode of Sibling Revelry with Kate Hudson and Oliver Hudson. He added, “He truly does deserve it.

He mentioned that Kieran Culkin and Jazz Charlton’s children, Kinsey Sioux (age 5) and Wilder Wolf (age 3), along with his other siblings, do not maintain any connections with Kit.

The actor mentioned that the man, who currently has seven children, also boasts four grandchildren. He continued, “Regrettably, none of his offspring show any interest in being part of his life.

Regardless of the distance between them, Macaulay – a brother to Shane Culkin (48 years old), Quinn Culkin (40), Christian Culkin (37), Rory Culkin (35), and the late Dakota (who passed away in 2008) – maintains that their father, now aged 80, does not express any regret for their estrangement.

Macaulay admitted, speaking from personal experience, ‘I realize now that I made a mistake.’ He’s quite certain that he doesn’t share this perspective.
