Machine Gun Kelly Claps Back at Music Critic Over Emotional Tribute Song

Machine Gun Kelly is pushing back.

In my role as a lifestyle connoisseur, I recently found myself addressing comments from music critic Jesea Lee regarding my latest composition, affectionately titled “Your Name Forever.” This piece is a heartfelt homage to my late friend, Luke “The Dingo” Trembath, the remarkable snowboarding prodigy who tragically passed away in February at the tender age of 38.

Regarding the song, Jesea commented, “Some people will dislike it solely because it’s by MGK.

Machine Gun Kelly (MGK) wrote, “This song is dedicated to one of my dearest friends who has recently passed away,” in a comment posted on March 18 under Jesea’s video. It seems unnecessary and insensitive to add a comment like, “You might dislike this because it’s MGK” – please refrain from making comments about something that deeply saddens us if you don’t want to contribute negativity.

Colson Baker, also known as the artist behind “The Lonely Road,” politely requested that the critic tone down their critique regarding his artistic output.

Stop spreading baseless negativity about me,” I emphasized. “All I’m doing is expressing affection and contributing to the advancement of the field you cover, which I admire deeply.

33-year-old, who’s having his first child with former partner Megan Fox, shared an Instagram story featuring a screenshot of someone else’s comment, captioning it with, “Some of you folks need to be re-cooked, shaking my head.

Additionally, MGK illuminated the hauntingly sad conditions surrounding the composition of his most recent track.

As a lifestyle expert, I’d express it this way: “On March 18th, I shared on my Instagram Stories that the song we were creating, titled ‘Your Name Forever,’ felt particularly poignant. This track was dedicated to our dear friend Dingo, who had passed away around the same time we began working on it. Suddenly, I felt an inexplicable urge to veer from our initial plan and create something new. In that moment, I found myself saying, ‘I’m feeling angry,’ as the raw emotions of the situation poured into the lyrics.

He changed the track and began working on it, and the line I had prepared was, “Someone call me back, I’ll paint my coffin black if no one will,” he went on. “I didn’t quite grasp why I was saying that line… The next call we received was that he had passed away. It became Dingo’s song as a result of this event. That’s why it all began. The following day, we returned and created what may have been the hardest song I’ve ever had to make in my career, dedicating it to Dingo forever.

The musical artist, who co-parents a 15-year-old named Casie with Emma Cannon, has previously expressed his sorrow over the loss of Dingo in the past.

Machine Gun Kelly wrote on Instagram on March 7th: “I’ve had many friends come and go, but I’ve never lost a brother. There will never be another Dingo on this earth. He was a genuine rockstar who didn’t need a song to prove it; the most loyal, boisterous, charming, hilarious, and irritating individual I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing.

He went on, expressing that he envisions the deceased professional snowboarder aiding in the preparation of his upcoming child for life.

Machine Gun Kelly expressed his feelings as if he believes you’re on par with his newborn child, donning a comical outfit that brings laughter, preparing to present the baby. He added that he could not wish for a more poignantly sweet blessing in this birth experience.
