This feature has been a staple of the franchise for years, and its absence is like a familiar face disappearing from the lineup.
Players of Madden NFL 25, on PC, PS5, Xbox Series S, and Xbox Series X, are contemplating requesting refunds for the EA game due to a feature that was omitted in this year’s edition. One downside of an annually released series like Madden is that not many new elements are added with each installment, but this also typically means little is taken away. In other words, Madden is a very dependable product. Whether the consistency is good or bad depends on the players, but it’s undeniably consistent. Consequently, when a feature or part of the game is deleted, it becomes noticeable, and players rarely welcome such changes.
For this reason, the game Madden NFL 25 took away the player selection feature in the Franchise mode, which has left some players feeling displeased. In fact, one of the most popular posts on the game’s Reddit forum is a harsh critique of this change.
