EA has unveiled its upcoming roster of American football video games set for release in 2026. Known as EA Sports College Football 26 and Madden NFL 26, these games are slated to arrive on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles. Notably, Madden NFL 26 will also make its way onto PC platforms such as Steam, Epic Games Store, and the EA app. This marks the first time that both games will be bypassing the previous console generation.
The video game titled “EA Sports College Football 26” is planned to hit the shelves on July 10, whereas “Madden NFL 26” will follow slightly later, being released on August 14. Both games offer Deluxe Editions that can be pre-ordered, providing early access of three days before their respective launch dates.
The launch dates for “Madden NFL 26” and “EA Sports College Football 26” were officially revealed, accompanied by a new trailer you can watch below. This trailer not only unveiled the release dates but also offered sneak peeks of how the games will showcase exceptional realism on the field, as well as behind-the-scenes insights into their diverse game modes.
If you pre-order the Deluxe Edition of Madden NFL 26, you’ll receive:

* Franchise Coach ability points

Instead of just the standard version, purchasing the Deluxe Edition for EA Sports College Football 26 offers you additional perks such as 4,600 College Football Points, a Top Prospect Ultimate Team Pack, an All Hands Ultimate Team Pack, Dynasty Coach Points, and Road to Glory Skill Points. Additionally, you’ll get early access for three days before its release on July 10.
In addition to the Deluxe Edition, you can also pre-order the standard versions of both titles. Each standard edition is priced at $69.99 and includes bonuses when pre-ordered. For “Madden NFL 26”, pre-ordering will grant you a Cover Athlete Elite MUT Player Item, Superstar Legendary XP Boost, and Franchise Coach Ability Points.
Ordering the standard version of EA Sports College Football 26 in advance comes with perks such as receiving the CUT All Hands Pack, accumulating Dynasty Coach Points, and earning Road to Glory Skill Points.
The two games are also offered together in a large package known as the MVP Bundle. By purchasing this, gamers receive access to both games and all of the Deluxe Edition extras, including early access. This bundle can be bought online for both PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, at a cost of $149.99. For those with an EA Play subscription, the bundle is available at a 10% discount, making it $134.99.
Since EA Sports College Football 26 won’t be available on PC, the MVP Bundle will only be accessible in the console versions of both games.
For a while now, EA’s Madden NFL has been a well-established franchise, but College Football was essentially on hiatus for quite some time until EA Sports College Football 25 came out last year. This game turned out to be a massive hit, with over 2.8 million players securing access to it even before its global release due to early access provided through the Deluxe Edition. Remarkably, data from December showed that it broke records as the highest-selling sports game in U.S. history.
