Made in Chelsea’s Lucy Watson isn’t ashamed to admit she missed show

As a seasoned movie buff with decades of watching reality TV under my belt, I must say that the return of Lucy Watson, Binky Felstead, and Rosie Fortescue to our screens is a delightful throwback to the golden age of Made in Chelsea. Having followed their lives since the early days of the show, it’s fascinating to see how they’ve evolved beyond the confines of Chelsea.

Lucy Watson, Binky Felstead, and Rosie Fortescue will be back on E4 again for a fresh installment titled “Beyond Chelsea.

In simpler terms, we can say that the upcoming episode will feature three stars from Made in Chelsea, who will open up about their lives once more, giving fans a glimpse into their personal lives after they left the reality series.

Lucy Watson appeared on Made in Chelsea from 2012 to 2016, and left to move on with her life.

In an interview with Jamie Laing’s podcast, Private Parts, Watson shared that the depiction of her disagreement with fellow cast member Stephanie Pratt on the show didn’t accurately reflect how the argument unfolded.

She stated, “During that period, [James and I] had more disputes, and I found myself thinking, ‘This will only lead to more disagreements.’ Later, I understood that it’s difficult to maintain a joyful relationship within the confines of that program,” she explained.

“At that point I was quite serious with James so I was like, ‘Actually I value this more’.

As a devoted viewer, I found myself deeply frustrated by the strict control over the show, which left me with no room for additional tasks. The inability to multitask was incredibly aggravating as there were so many other things I yearned to accomplish simultaneously.

So why return?

Well, it’s been eight years since Watson has been on TV and admitted she “did miss it”.

It’s evident that Beyond Chelsea stands in stark contrast to Made in Chelsea, as co-star Binky Felstead clarified it was a significantly different experience and “much simpler” to shoot compared to the initial series.

As a cinephile, I’ve found myself in a unique position, tasked with guiding fellow movie enthusiasts through the silver screen landscape. In this particular case, I’ve encountered a cinematic masterpiece that transcends the test of time, a film whose innovative filming techniques resonate profoundly with modern audiences.
