As a long-time admirer of K-pop and its captivating blend of music, dance, and culture, I am absolutely thrilled about the upcoming series, “Made in Korea: The K-Pop Experience.” Having followed the genre’s evolution for years, I can’t help but feel a sense of nostalgia as I witness yet another innovative attempt to introduce Western audiences to the K-pop phenomenon.

Get ready to immerse yourself in K-pop on a whole new level! The innovative series “Made in Korea: The K-Pop Experience” is set to debut on television screens this month, offering an unprecedented boy band adventure unlike anything you’ve seen before.

The show is jointly produced by Moon&Back Media, SM Entertainment, and SM & Kakao Entertainment America. It follows the journey of five British boys as they undergo K-pop training with the ultimate goal of debuting as a fresh boy band.

The confirmation is out; you can catch the six-part series on BBC One and iPlayer this coming Saturday, August 17th, starting at 5:15 pm.

Each Saturday, starting from now on, the episodes are narrated by Vick Hope, offering viewers a glimpse of whether the boys can propel their band towards a worldwide stage.

Hello! The group “Alice” consists of five members: Blaise Noon (age 19), Dexter Greenwood (22), James Sharpe (23), Olly Quinn (also 20), and Reese Carter (also 20). In the upcoming series, these young men will delve into K-pop culture while undergoing a genuine 100-day training program.

Throughout this journey, they’ll encounter a timetable that includes dance choreography sessions, singing and acting workshops, personal development strategies, and a deep dive into various facets of Korean culture.

Every week, the band is evaluated and given feedback by renowned K-pop authority Hee Jun Yoon, who has been instrumental in shaping some top K-pop groups over the past two decades.

“And there’s something so lovely about how they wanted to please, they wanted you to like them.”

He went on to say: “I possess a unique intuition, which I refer to as my ‘goosebump moment.’ During this instance, the hair on the back of my hand stands up, and I exclaim, ‘They’ve got it.’ In all sincerity and truthfulness, I truly believe that these young men have the necessary skills.”
