In the course of his discussion, Cox brought up San Celeste, a town that will make up the largest settlement in the world of “Mafia: The Old Country.” Interestingly, while San Celeste is a significant location, players will find themselves traversing rural landscapes on horseback instead of cruising through urban cityscapes, which were characteristic of earlier “Mafia” settings.
Cox stated that San Celeste, our central town in the game universe, is not your typical bustling city. Instead, it’s more like traversing a picturesque rural landscape on horseback, as if you were exploring the stunning Sicilian countryside.
Fundamentally, Cox explains that while The Old Country maintains a recognizable Mafia essence, its environment will differ significantly from typical portrayals.
