City-building and strategy games are inherently specialized genres, but that doesn’t prevent them from achieving real commercial success if they’re worthy. For instance, Manor Lords by Slavic Magic and Hooded Horse garnered extensive praise upon its early access launch nearly a year back, and since then, it has consistently sold well to match its recognition.
Indeed, it’s been revealed that the game has surpassed three million global sales since its early access debut. Within a single weekend during its launch last year, it managed to sell a million copies. Achieving 2 million units in less than a month after that, it’s continued to grow steadily. The game has received several significant content updates post-launch – the latest one was rolled out last month – which undoubtedly played a role in maintaining its strong sales figures.
The game titled “Manor Lords” is now accessible in its early version on personal computers. As of now, there’s no definitive information regarding the release date from early access, nor any details about potential launches on other platforms.
