In the USA, Assassin’s Creed Shadows has already become one of the year’s top-selling titles.
According to recent findings by Circana, Ubisoft’s open-world RPG claimed the first position in March, while Monster Hunter World maintained its lead as the year-to-date chart’s number one game.
Although we only have sales figures for the PS5 variant, MLB The Show 25 has shown impressive sales performance. It ranked second in the monthly chart and fourth for the year to date. Moreover, it was the top-selling game on PS5 in March and is currently outperforming last year’s version by approximately 23%.
In addition to the top hits, other notable releases have been making waves. These include WWE 2K25, which ranks fourth for March and sixth overall in 2025; and Split Fiction, currently holding fifth place for the month and number ten in terms of year-to-date sales.
Speaking about hardware, the PlayStation 5 (PS5) dominated the market in March for both monetary transactions and individual sales. So far this year, approximately half of all PS5 units sold were digital editions, which lack a disc drive.
The Sony Midnight Black lineup of PlayStation 5 accessories dominates many accessory charts, with the DualSense taking the top spot, followed by the DualSense Edge at third place, and the PS Portal close behind in fourth position.
