However, the recent revelation of plagiarism allegations and the subsequent confirmation by Bungie has left me disheartened. After the disappointing stream aimed at addressing these concerns from the Alpha test, many fellow gamers are now clamoring for a delay in release. Today, I learned that these allegations have taken a toll on Bungie’s employees, causing morale to plummet. This situation has significantly increased the chances of a game delay, as one employee described the current atmosphere as “the vibes have never been worse.” Yet, no official announcement about a delay has been made.

The upcoming first-person shooter titled “Marathon,” scheduled for release on September 23rd by Bungie, has been generating excitement due to its vibrant and eye-catching visual design. Future of Marathon Looks Uncertain as Employees Worry What’s Next

As creators of the blockbuster games Halo and Destiny, Bungie is well-known for producing top-tier shooter games. However, it’s been some time since they released Destiny 2, and their upcoming title Marathon has a lot to live up to in terms of both reputation and financial expectations. Given the crowded market of free-to-play titles, and Marathon’s premium price tag, there are high hopes for this extraction shooter.
