Marathon’s Closed Alpha NDA Was Lifted After Reaction to Gameplay Reveal

Before the alpha test for Marathon by Bungie, they’ve decided to lift the confidentiality agreement, enabling us, the players, to freely discuss and demonstrate the game details and gameplay. Insiders talking to Paul Tassi at Forbes have since suggested possible explanations for this move.

In this technical trial, the alpha version is restricted supposedly to prevent malfunctions (a common practice in the field).
