The movie isn’t scheduled to hit UK theaters until the beginning of next year, specifically on Friday, 10th January 2025.

The movie won’t become available for streaming until two weeks after its cinema release in selected U.S. theaters, which is set for Wednesday 27th November. Specifically, it will start streaming on Netflix on the 11th of December.

UK viewers have a chance to see the movie before its nationwide premiere – it’s being shown as part of the London Film Festival on Friday 18th October, Saturday 19th October, and Sunday 20th October.

On Thursday, 29th August, Maria made its worldwide debut in competition at the Venice Film Festival. It was met with an eight-minute long standing ovation.
