Apart from Time Trials, VS Race, and the much-anticipated return of Mario Kart World, players can now rejoice in the addition of Battle Mode! In the recent Nintendo Direct presentation, Coin Runners and Balloon Battle were confirmed as game modes. Specifically, Coin Runners emphasizes on gathering coins within a given time frame before the clock ticks down.
In this game, you’re tasked with bursting your adversary’s balloons using various objects. Additionally, Nintendo has given additional insights about Free Roam. You can traverse the world in this mode, eating food to unlock costumes and car decals, but there’s plenty more to uncover.
Scattered globally are numerous P Switches, each hosting tasks for gamers (such as finding Blue Coins), along with hidden treasures like Peach Medallions yet to be uncovered. Additionally, there are enigmatic panels to activate, though their outcomes remain a secret. Naturally, you can embark on adventures with other players and instantaneously teleport to any location they’re currently at on the map.
On June 5th, you’ll find “Mario Kart World” exclusively on the Nintendo Switch 2. It retails for $79.99. Look forward to trying out the fresh tracks, exploring the latest technique, named Rewind, and many other exciting features!
