Mario Lopez, known for his role in “Saved By the Bell”, is all set to make a guest appearance on the third season finale of an NBC sitcom next year. TopMob News has been privileged to unveil a sneak peek at this much-anticipated scene.
As an over-the-moon fan, I couldn’t contain my excitement when I caught a glimpse of those sneak peek images! It turns out that none other than the legendary Mario is set to play George Lopez’s cousin Manny – a dynamic character who’s not only a dedicated lawyer but also a fitness devotee with boundless passion.
According to Peacock’s description, Manny is versatile yet not exceptionally skilled in any one area, being a lawyer as well as an untrained personal trainer. Despite his lack of expertise as a lawyer, he holds great value for George. In situations where Elsa locks the family out of their house, Manny may not be able to provide immediate solutions. However, if given six weeks, he will help you achieve the best physical shape you’ve ever been in.
In various preview photos, Mario proudly displays his bulky arms, all the while dressed in somewhat casual lawyer garb, such as joggers and a tank top.
George, his daughter Mayan Lopez, and her fiancé Matt Shively exhibit a baffled and amusing expression as they observe Manny dressed informally, complete with exercise equipment, during a business meeting in his office.
Mario was thrilled to be part of the cast for the last episode of season three, playing George’s cousin, as he expressed in an exclusive statement to TopMob. From the instant he set foot on the set, he felt welcomed. He can hardly wait for everyone to see the result of our work.
Mario joins an illustrious lineup of guest stars for the popular series, “Lopez vs Lopez.” More recently, screen legend Rita Moreno reprised her role with George, portraying his deceased grandmother Dolores in a Day of the Dead-themed Halloween episode. The duo previously collaborated on “The George Lopez Show” back in 2007.
George shared with The Wrap earlier this month, “She is incredibly significant to our culture, and personally meaningful to me as well. Working alongside her in scenes that are both humorous and dramatic might just be, apart from knowing Mayan, the best gift I’ve ever received.” He continued, “To collaborate with her at 93 years old, still delivering each moment with precision, is truly a remarkable experience.
