In an upcoming battle, Godzilla will face off against Bruce Banner in a fresh confrontation that brings together their strongest green characters from each fictional universe. The release date and creative team for this clash between the Emerald Titans have also been disclosed, with Godzilla’s official social media providing fans an exclusive sneak peek.
In terms of epic battles against colossal creatures, Marvel Comics has historically provided Bruce Banner with a plethora of monstrous adversaries, and Fing Fang Foom is one such opponent he’s faced numerous times. This beast from Marvel’s stable bears some resemblance to Godzilla, but Foom’s intelligence and flight capabilities elevate it above Godzilla in many people’s eyes. Here’s what the EIC shared: “At first, we approached them for our reprints, but as conversations continued, it became evident that both our teams were eager to collaborate further. The idea for these crossovers developed over time, working hand-in-hand with Toho. We felt the ideal moment for their release was during Godzilla’s 70th anniversary next year. So far, we’ve been delighted to work on these projects, and we hope this is just the beginning of many more exciting collaborations.
