As a lifelong Marvel enthusiast who has witnessed the evolution of Spider-Man since his debut in 1962, I can confidently say that this Green Goblin Roleplay collection is nothing short of incredible! Growing up, I always dreamt of having my very own Green Goblin gear, and now, thanks to Hasbro, that dream has become a reality.
In August 1962, Spider-Man made his debut in Marvel Comics’ Amazing Fantasy #15, a date fans commemorate annually on August 1st as Spider-Man Day. In 2024, Hasbro honored this occasion with new roleplay gear inspired by the Green Goblin’s appearance in the 2021 film ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’. The collection offers a highly detailed full-scale helmet and replicas of pumpkin bombs, complete with electronic features such as lights and sounds. Regrettably, the helmet lacks Willem Dafoe sound effects, which is somewhat disappointing. Nevertheless, it’s an impressive piece.
Initially, the helmets were quickly snapped up following their release on Amazon, and more recently, they’ve run out of stock during pre-orders. However, as I write this, they are available and being shipped by Amazon, as indicated in the links below. In case Amazon sells out again, you might want to consider Entertainment Earth, since U.S. shipping is currently free on orders exceeding $39.
