As a long-time Marvel fan and someone who has spent countless hours poring over comics, I can’t help but get excited about these latest Marvel Legends multipacks! The Inhumans Crystal and Lockjaw 2-pack is just the latest addition to my ever-growing collection. Crystal, with her elemental powers, and Lockjaw, the teleporting bulldog, are such iconic characters that I simply can’t resist.
In the past few months, Hasbro has been focusing on Marvel Legends multipacks, and this trend persists as they unveil the Inhumans Crystal and Lockjaw 2-pack this week. As shared by Dan Yun from Hasbro, this set is anticipated to start pre-orders this Thursday, September 5th at 10am PT / 1pm ET on Entertainment Earth (with free U.S. shipping for orders over $59+). If you haven’t heard before, Crystal is the sibling of Medusa, who rules over the Inhumans. With royal blood flowing through her veins, she possesses an extraordinary talent – controlling the four fundamental elements: fire, water, earth, and air. She’s been part of several Marvel superhero groups such as The Fantastic 4 and The Avengers. Her loyal and affectionate companion is Lockjaw, a large and lovable bulldog who’s proven to be incredibly useful due to his teleportation abilities.
After a lengthy delay, Hasbro has finally released the Marvel Legends Avengers: Infinity War Outriders 2-pack, which was first introduced in 2018 along with the movie and initial wave of figures. This set includes two action figures of Thanos’ Outriders for creating an army, and you can now pre-order it at Entertainment Earth for $59.99. The item is also available on Amazon, but it was out of stock during the time of writing.
In addition to recent Marvel Legends collection updates, Hasbro introduced the Punisher and Bushwacker two-pack inspired by the Punisher War Journal comics last week. You can now pre-order it at Entertainment Earth for $54.99, with a scheduled release date in January. Unfortunately, Amazon’s listing is currently out of stock as well. The set includes 13 accessories such as an alternate head for Punisher, additional hands for both characters, and various weapons.
If you’re not aware, Carl Burbank, also known as Bushwacker, initially served as a priest but later transitioned into a CIA assassin (a rather unusual career path). He was introduced by Ann Nocenti and artist Rick Leonardi in the Daredevil #248 issue from 1987. Most often, he’s been featured in issues of Daredevil, but he’s also encountered characters like Wolverine from the X-Men and the Punisher. In his case, being a “hired gun” means something different since he’s a villain with a remarkable talent: he can transform his cybernetic arm into various types of firearms.
