What is Deadpool & Wolverine about?

In the latest Marvel Cinematic Universe installment number 34, I find myself as a bored and disengaged Wade Wilson (Reynolds), living my days in civilian life. But alas, my past as the morally ambiguous mercenary Deadpool is not so easily forgotten. When my world is threatened with existence, I’m reluctantly pulled back into action. With heavy sighs and groans, I must persuade a reluctant Wolverine (Jackman) to join me. Synopses can be such a pain sometimes.

In the Marvel Studios production titled “Deadpool & Wolverine,” Deadpool, portrayed by Ryan Reynolds, and Wolverine, played by Hugh Jackman, will alter the course of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s history together. This film features Matthew Macfadyen as Paradox and Emma Corrin as Cassandra Nova, while notable returning cast members include Morena Baccarin as Vanessa Carlyle, Leslie Uggams as Blind Al, Karan Soni as Dopinder, Stefan Kapi?i? as Piotr Rasputin/Colossus, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Rob Delaney as Peter, and Lewis Tan as Shatterstar. Aaron Stanford reprises his role as Pyro from the X-Men series, with rumors of Jennifer Garner’s return as Elektra Natchios.

Kevin Feige, Ryan Reynolds, Shawn Levy, and Lauren Shuler Donner are the producers for “Deadpool & Wolverine,” with Louis D’Esposito, Wendy Jacobson, Mary McLaglen, Josh McLaglen, George Dewey, Simon Kinberg, Rhett Reese, and Paul Wernick serving as executive producers. The script for this film is written by Ryan Reynolds, Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, Zeb Wells, and Shawn Levy. “Deadpool & Wolverine” is set to be released exclusively in theaters on July 26th.
