As a seasoned gamer and comic book enthusiast, I can’t help but get excited about the latest development in Miles Morales’ Spider-Man saga! The introduction of the Vibranium suit is a game-changer that promises to bring a fresh twist to the storyline. The struggle between the vampiric urges and the need for self-control has always been a compelling aspect of Miles’ character, and it seems like this new suit might just be his ticket to regaining balance.
Following a bite from a genetically modified spider, Miles Morales has experienced another biting incident – this time from a vampire. In a storyline known as Blood Hunt, penned by Jed MacKay and Pepe Larraz, Blade the vampire slayer was taken over by Varnae, the original vampire, causing him to turn both T’Challa (the Black Panther) and Miles into vampires. While Spider-Man (now a vampire) and Blade’s daughter, Bloodline, successfully defeated Varnae, Miles is struggling with an insatiable thirst for blood that can only be controlled by the Black Panther.
In the latest installments of “Miles Morales: Spider-Man”, it’s been uncovered that Miles’ venom powers are restraining certain vampiric tendencies he gained due to Varnae’s dark sorcery. To address this, Miles’ guide, Misty Knight, and doctor Keisha Kwan have called T’Challa for aid. This situation will lead to a transformation for the Spider-Man of Brooklyn: he’ll be getting a new suit – a Vibranium one made in Wakanda, which will make its first appearance in “Miles Morales: Spider-Man” #25, hitting shelves in October.
Marvel will highlight the costume design of artist Federico Vicentini, who works on Miles Morales: Spider-Man, on a variant cover (above), set for release on October 16th. Additionally, the publisher has shared previews (below) for future installments of Cody Ziglar’s series about Miles Morales, hinting at a journey to Wakanda alongside Black Panther and a re-encounter with an enhanced Vulture.
