Marvel Reveals Winner of Hulk vs Thanos

Marvel Reveals Winner of Hulk vs Thanos

As a longtime Marvel fan who’s seen more than my fair share of comic book battles, I must say that the latest showdown between Thanos and Hulk was nothing short of epic! The sheer power these two titans wielded was breathtaking, leaving me on the edge of my seat.

In the Marvel Comics Universe, Thanos’ relentless pursuit of the Infinity Stones sets him on a path that inevitably intersects with The Incredible Hulk. Unlike those depicted in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Infinity Saga, these stones have bonded to human hosts, granting them extraordinary powers. Some wield these abilities for noble purposes, while others choose to use them for malevolent acts. As Thanos hunts down the Mind Stone, his path crosses with Hulk, and only one will emerge victorious from this encounter.

In Annual Issue 1 of The Incredible Hulk, we find ourselves in the sixth installment of the “Infinity Watch” storyline, penned by Derek Landy, Geoff Shaw, Frank Martin, and letterer Cory Petit. This chapter focuses on Colleen Wing, who is on a mission to locate the Mind Stone’s bearer, Worldmind. Worldmind has been communicating telepathically with Colleen, expressing his desire for her to act as his bodyguard. Although she appreciates the offer, Colleen doubts her abilities given the stones’ cosmic nature. As if cosmic threats weren’t enough, Thanos makes an appearance too.

Following an assault on Thanos’ psyche by Worldmind, the formidable Titan retaliates swiftly by inflicting a fatal wound in Worldmind’s torso with a powerful punch, causing the Mind Stone to transfer into his possession. With a desperate cry for aid, Worldmind summons the mighty Hulk to leap into action and confront Thanos next.

Hulk vs. Thanos for the fate of an Infinity Stone

Marvel Reveals Winner of Hulk vs Thanos

In the Marvel Universe, there are no figures more awe-inspiring than the Hulk and Thanos. They clashed in battle when the Hulk was part of a new Illuminati group, as portrayed by writers Christopher Cantwell and artists Luca Pizzari in their Thanos miniseries. During this confrontation, Thanos tried to use the Mind Stone against the Hulk, but the Emerald Behemoth retaliated with bites and punches aimed at Thanos. The only misstep Thanos made was referring to the Hulk as “weak,” a remark that ignited the Hulk’s wrath.

Their fight is brutal and vicious, laying waste to a forest that serves as their battleground. Thanos appears to win after snapping Hulk’s neck, but Hulk just cracks it back in place and delivers a blow from behind, leveling the remaining trees. The fight between Hulk and Thanos goes to Hulk after Colleen Wing – who now possesses the Mind Stone – steps in and thrusts her sword into Thanos’ skull. Hulk then gives one last punch to put Thanos down, giving them time to escape. So it would appear this round between the behemoths goes to the Hulk.
