In a short span of time, we’ve started introducing fresh characters into our lineup. Beginning January 6th, Marvel Rivals welcomes the Fantastic Four team to the roster, which includes Reed Richards, Susan Storm, Johnny Storm (the Torch), and Benjamin J. Grimm (the Thing)!

The reason for their excitement is that the creators at Marvel Rivals focus on making characters play as you would expect, even if this might not prioritize competitive balance. However, in the grand scheme of things, it doesn’t matter!

For those who might be unfamiliar, the Fantastic Four have been a well-established Marvel intellectual property since the 1960s. They include a character who can stretch, an invisible woman, one who can control fire, and another composed of rock. To shed some light on Reed’s significance, it’s worth noting that he is frequently among, if not the most intelligent character in comic books, as portrayed by different writers. This intellectual titan matches or even surpasses the genius level of Tony Stark and Charles Xavier at times.

As a gamer, I’ve found that one crucial habit I’ve picked up is regular stretching, which might seem awkward at first. However, once you get into the game, it becomes clear that going up against an opponent who’s as flexible as rubber and can contort himself to fit into your mouth and inflate isn’t exactly a walk in the park.

It seems the DC boys might possess a similar power, but this individual is viewed as potentially harmful, even by someone as powerful as Superman.

The developers have posted an attractive artwork featuring the game’s team, which is known as the crew. Starting January 6th, Marvel Rivals will incorporate the Fantastic Four team roster, and they plan to share the relevant scans. However, unintentionally, we’ve also received a sneak peek of Reed’s forthcoming moves – leaked images have surfaced.

In simpler terms, this player exhibits characteristics similar to Zach from League. He covers vast areas of the map and chases opponents; we can say he plays like Zach. To elaborate further, his style of play is reminiscent of Ultimate Richards, where he becomes unpredictable and aggressive.

As a devoted admirer, I must say that his model is quite appealing, and his moveset seems to be a real game-changer. While we’ve got characters like Logan and Iron Fist, they can be a bit fragile in a fight – more style than substance, if you catch my drift.

In Marvel Rivals, the Fantastic Four have been incorporated, introducing a new character in every role. Given his abilities shown here, Reed is likely to be classified as a Vanguard character.

My hope lies in Zach’s ability to adapt seamlessly to the three-dimensional gaming environment. Moreover, it seems fitting that Torch assumes an aerial, Iron Man-like role. Lastly, Susan and Thing make a good team in the vanguard as support characters.
