Marvel’s Captain America: Brave New World Digital Streaming Release Includes Deleted Scenes

The highly-anticipated Marvel Studios film “Captain America: Brave New World,” featuring Anthony Mackie as the winged hero, is set to touch down in home theaters. Disney has confirmed that the movie will be up for purchase on digital platforms such as Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, and FandangoNow from April 15. The digital version retails at $29.99 and boasts several hours of additional content, including deleted scenes, bloopers, and a behind-the-scenes featurette delving into the characters Sidewinder (Giancarlo Esposito), the Leader (Tim Blake Nelson), and the Red Hulk (Harrison Ford).

The digital debut date for streaming includes the option to pre-purchase the Captain America 4-Movie Collection ($59.99). This collection brings together all four films – The First Avenger (2011), The Winter Soldier (2014), Civil War (2016), and Brave New World (2025) – in 4K, HD, and SD formats.

On May 13th, the digital release of “Captain America: Brave New World” will transition to 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD formats. Additionally, a four-movie collection of the series will be available on both Blu-ray and DVD on the same date.

Disney hasn’t specified a date yet, but it’s expected that you’ll be able to stream “Captain America: Brave New World” on Disney+ around May 20, as most Disney films typically become available digitally for about 40 days before appearing on the streaming service. We’ll let you know if there are any changes.

Following the occurrences in 2019’s “Avengers: Endgame” and 2021’s “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier,” where Sam Wilson (Mackie) assumed the shield and role of Captain America from Steve Rogers (Chris Evans), the story of “Brave New World” commences. In this installment, Captain America finds himself embroiled in a global crisis following a meeting with the newly elected U.S. President Ross (Ford). With the world teetering on the edge of conflict, Captain America and his companion, Joaquin Torres/the Falcon (Danny Ramirez), set out to unravel the mystery behind a sinister worldwide conspiracy orchestrated by the Leader (Nelson).

Ever since its theater release on Valentine’s Day, “Captain America: Brave New World” has soared to a total of $412 million at the worldwide box office, outperforming the franchise’s initial film, “The First Avenger” ($370 million). The duo of Mackie as Captain America and Ramirez as Falcon will reappear in “Avengers: Doomsday”, slated for a theater release on May 1, 2026.
