Marvel's Vision Series Adds Star Trek: Picard's Todd Stashwick

As a seasoned gamer and Marvel enthusiast with decades of comic book lore under my belt, I’m beyond excited about the upcoming series, “Marvel’s Vision.” The addition of Todd Stashwick to the cast is a brilliant move, given his stellar performance in “Star Trek: Picard” and “12 Monkeys.” His character as an assassin chasing after Vision and the technology he possesses sounds intriguing, especially with Terry Matalas, who showran both those series, serving as the showrunner for Vision.

The Disney+ series “Marvel’s Vision” has just recruited a new cast member. Todd Stashwick, known for his roles in “Star Trek: Picard” and “12 Monkeys,” has been confirmed to join the show by The Hollywood Reporter. This marks another collaboration between Stashwick and Terry Matalas, who was the showrunner for both “Picard” and “12 Monkeys,” and is now serving as the showrunner for “Vision.” Although the character’s name has not been revealed, he is described as an assassin tracking down the android in question and the technology he carries.

In the ensemble, Stashwick is set to be part of a cast featuring Paul Bettany portraying the lead character, the android named Vision, and James Spader reprising his role as the voice behind the villainous Ultron from “Avengers: Age of Ultron.

What Is the Vision Series About?

Details regarding the plot of the “Vision” series, also known as “Vision Quest,” are being kept secret for now. We know that this series takes place after the events of the 2021 Disney+ series “WandaVision,” where Paul Bettany’s character, Vision, was reborn as White Vision. This upcoming series will be the second spinoff following “Agatha All Along.

In a recent conversation with ComicBook, Marvel producer Mary Livanos hinted that it seems “Vision Quest” is in development. If true, she expressed excitement to return to this project and shared that the story will continue after the events of “WandaVision,” although details are scarce at this early stage.
