The podcast host recently discussed their experiences co-parenting their 25-year-old son, Jack, with ex-husband Dean McDermott and his estranged wife Tori Spelling. They shared that they are content having left that phase of their lives behind.
Mary Jo expressed her relief to TopMob News during the DPA Pre-Emmy Gifting Lounge, saying, “I’m really happy because I feel like I’ve moved on from that situation,” she added, “My son, Jack, is thriving.
The author mentioned that Jack begins law school in September, while Lola, aged 19, is a pre-medical student now. Through all the challenges their family faced, they have managed to thrive remarkably well.
She mentioned that they had been employed from the age of 14, implying that she took on most of the parental responsibilities. Now, it feels wonderful to be at this stage of life and transitioning towards the next phase.
In her own words, Mary Jo mentioned that she hasn’t contacted Dean or Tori during their divorce proceedings, stating that it’s a matter they should deal with on their own, their personal experience.
Yet, at the age of 62, Liam expresses goodwill towards the pair, predominantly due to the five offspring they have together: Liam, aged 17, Stella, who is 16, Hattie, 12, Finn, 11, and Beau, only 7 years old.
She emphasized, “To ensure their wellbeing, let’s treat this matter with care. May they prosper and thrive in all their endeavors.
When it comes to advising Tori, Mary Jo prefers not to impose her thoughts on the matter. Instead, she acknowledges that Tori is in charge of her own journey, making her own decisions like a skilled captain steering her own ship.
Currently, Mary Jo is engrossed in readying herself for the upcoming season two of “Traitors Canada”. She’s been receiving some wonderful suggestions from friends Phaedra Park and Brandi Glanville, particularly on weight loss matters. Hearing about a novel treatment called CellSound – known for slimming and firming skin – from her friends, she decided it was worth exploring.
She explained to TopMob that she desired an approach which was absolutely harmless and pain-free. She had experienced some treatments that were somewhat uncomfortable. However, she found the CellSound technology to be astonishingly innovative, and the outcomes it produces are simply remarkable.
