The performer will take on the role of He-Man, the powerful hero of the movie, who uses his extraordinary might to safeguard his home planet against adversaries.
Galitzine posted a picture on Instagram showcasing his character’s physical development, with him brandishing the Sword of Power – the enchanted artifact responsible for the character’s transformation.

During a recent chat with W Magazine, Galitzine shared details about the rigorous training he endured prior to the shoot. In a light-hearted manner, he quipped, “Nothing too serious, I merely need to portray the mightiest being in the cosmos.
He added: “I’ve been consuming plenty of food and lifting weights, performing many stunts. I’m taking in approximately 4,000 calories daily, yet by the end of the day, I find myself feeling hungry – something rather unexpected. This is what makes it enjoyable.
In the future, I’ll enter a period often referred to as ‘the cutting phase.’ During this time, I’ll have restricted eating habits and may appear less friendly towards others. I want to express my regrets in advance for any changes in my behavior that you might notice over the next few months.
In this upcoming movie, Riverdale actress Camila Mendes will portray Teela, a possible romantic interest for Prince Adam’s Royal Guard Captain and also a character in the cast, while Alison Brie from GLOW has signed up to play Evil-Lyn, one of the main antagonists.
Johánnes Haukur Johannesson (from Captain America: Brave New World) is now part of the movie cast, taking on the role of Fisto, a combatant ally to He-Man.
Earlier this month (February 2025), Jóhannesson teased a “really fun script”.
He mentioned to Deadline that filming will begin within roughly a week to ten days, during their conversation at the global premiere of Captain America: Brave New World on the red carpet.
