Matthew Stafford’s Daughters Cheer Him Up After NFL Playoff Loss: See the Heartwarming Photos!

Matthew Stafford can always count on his family for a boost.

On January 19, the NFL quarterback’s season concluded with a loss to the Philadelphia Eagles by his team, the Los Angeles Rams. However, he found solace in the presence of his family, particularly his wife Kelly Stafford and their four children: twin daughters Sawyer and Chandler (age 7), as well as Hunter (age 6) and Tyler (age 4).

Kelly expressed her immense pride in a different way on Instagram, Jan 20, alongside pictures of the girls surrounding their dad at Lincoln Financial field. She jokingly talks about them being old and weary, but in truth, she could never grow tired of witnessing him play or seeing their daughters cheer for their father.

In a subtle manner, the 35-year-old host of “The Morning After” podcast alluded to potential changes in her spouse’s career within the NFL, suggesting that he might be considering retirement from professional football at the age of 36.

“I’m wondering if this is the end or not,” she teased. “Guess we will find out.”

During the final weeks of their season, the Rams faced a lot of turmoil due to the ongoing wildfires in Los Angeles. These fires led to several schedule adjustments, including moving their January 13 home game against the Minnesota Vikings to another location. To add to this, two of the Staffords’ daughters were ill with the flu as they traveled to Glendale, Arizona for the match.

On the January 15th podcast episode, Kelly admitted that she and someone else were unwell during the flight. She also confessed feelings of guilt, wondering if they should have been on the plane at all, considering those around them and the circumstances they found themselves in.

Initially, it required some convincing, but eventually, Kelly agreed to travel with her family of six.

She expressed, “I contacted numerous individuals and they responded, ‘Hurry up and board that flight. We need to reunite.’ She added, ‘A tiny doubt crossed my mind about staying behind with my kids.’ But Matthew reassured her, saying, ‘Absolutely not, we’ll make any necessary arrangements, but we are all going on this flight. We’re going to be together immediately.’

On the gridiron, Matthew Stafford stands among the top-tier NFL quarterbacks. Yet, when he steps off the field, he transforms into just a loving father at home.

During the break week, Matthew and his spouse Kelly Stafford took their children on a fun-filled autumn outing close to their residence in Los Angeles.

33, and feeling blessed by all the individuals who make up our household, Kelly expressed during her birthday celebration. Grateful for the infectious grins of these young ladies, as well as a partner who consistently brings laughter into my life.

Kelly posted on Instagram that her morning by the pier transformed into a day at the beach, which then evolved into watching a professional women’s surfing competition… and it was quite an amazing, laid-back summer day with strong ‘Aloha spirit’.

Following the game at SoFi Stadium in LA, Matthew had the pleasure of reconnecting with three of his daughters in a private lounge.

Following a full day of rooting for Dad, it’s understandable that Matthew’s children would prefer cuddling up after the sporting event.

Regardless if they’re at the stadium or heading to school, Matthew’s daughters always prefer donning the colors of their favorite team, the Rams.

When Matthew worked from home during COVID-19 shutdowns, his daughters quickly wore him out.

Kelly posted a photo on Instagram that beautifully encapsulated her deep affection for her daughters, as they were cuddling with Matthew.
