As I delve into the vibrant world of Kyle Richards and her remarkable family, I am struck by their infectious joy and unity. Mauricio Umansky is taking legal action to protect his father.
According to TopMob News, the star of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and his sister, Sharon Benton (formerly known as Sharon Umansky), have submitted a request for guardianship over their father, Eduardo Umansky, who is 81 years old.
As an ardent admirer, I’ve come across some intriguing revelations from the legal documents dated August 15th. The siblings assert that Eduardo’s girlfriend has been exploiting his vulnerability to undue influence and fraud, using it for financial gain at his expense. They also claim that he is currently incapable of managing himself and his assets effectively.
According to the document, over the last few months, the proposed conservatee’s girlfriend has exhibited a growing tendency towards control, restricting and managing the social interactions of the individual. It appears she is attempting to keep him secluded from others. Interestingly, despite being together for two decades without any prior agreement to marry, she now seems keen on getting married.
Mauricio and Sharon mentioned a situation in which they had lunch with Eduardo without his girlfriend being aware. Upon discovering this outing, they alleged that she reacted angrily, verbally and emotionally attacking them.
Beyond the reported mistreatment, it’s also claimed that an unnamed woman, believed to be his girlfriend, has withdrawn approximately $300,000 from his funds.
For approximately the last year and a half, Eduardo (PC) and Mauricio have uncovered that his girlfriend illegally obtained over $260,000 from Eduardo. This was achieved through manipulation, either physically or emotionally, and/or deception. In essence, he has cashed more than $260,000 worth of checks to his girlfriend without any justifiable reason other than her desire for the funds.
Enclosed is Eduardo’s agreement, granting the conservatorship, and designating Mauricio and Sharon as co-conservators.
Should the conservatorship be approved, they will gain authority over both Eduardo’s personal affairs and his assets. A court hearing regarding this matter is scheduled for October 28th.
