He started off his Instagram post on February 16th, which featured an image of skis, by expressing gratitude to everyone who had gotten in touch. The outpouring of love and support he’s received has been truly heartwarming.

Mauricio, who is father to Farrah (36), Alexia (28), Sophia (24), and Portia (16) with his estranged wife Kyle Richards, underwent surgery on his collarbone. It was a clean break but needed a metal plate and 12 screws for repair. He is optimistic about a swift recovery. The medical team at Aspen Valley Hospital are highly skilled, and he credits the helmet he wore for his safety during the incident.

A few days ago, on February 14th, the 54-year-old posted photos from the hospital. These included a self-portrait in a hospital gown and a picture of an X-ray.

He went on to say, “I want to have this operation so I can recover properly.” Additionally, he mentioned that while playing vigorously may result in injuries, the level of care provided here has truly been remarkable.

Two months have passed since Kyle openly expressed her feelings that Mauricio might be experiencing a midlife crisis during their separation, following his recent accident.

She expressed in December, “I’ve observed his actions in this situation and at times thought, ‘This feels like a classic midlife crisis,’ she admitted.” Furthermore, she referred to the car and house he purchased as the “symbol of a midlife crisis.
