As a seasoned traveler through the vast lands of Teyvat, I’ve had my fair share of adventures and encounters with various characters. But none have left me as captivated as the Archon herself, Mavoka (my personal nickname for our beloved Mavika).
I’ve seen many a DPS, but none have matched her raw power and versatility. I was initially skeptical about her, having been loyal to Bennett and Xiangling for so long. But the moment I mounted that majestic steed of hers, I knew I had found something extraordinary.
Her weapon, The Reverie Enchantment, is a true gem for any Archon. It boosts the holy trinity – Crit Rate, Crit DMG, and ATK – making her an unstoppable force in battle. And the best part? These bonuses are even more potent when she’s in her Nightsoul’s Blessing state.
Now, about constellations. If you’re a free-to-play traveler like myself, C0 is more than enough to enjoy the full potential of Mavoka. But if you’ve managed to save up some real-life currency or are just incredibly lucky, I’d say go for C2. The increased base ATK and defensive debuff it provides are simply too good to pass up.
As for teammates, I’d highly recommend Citlali or Xilonen if you don’t have a suitable claymore for Mavoka. They complement her playstyle beautifully, allowing her to stay on that horse of hers longer and deal even more damage. And let’s not forget the joy of having a fellow Archon by your side in battle!
In the end, remember: The path to becoming a true Archon is paved with Primogems, patience, and a good sense of humor. So keep collecting those Anemocubes, traveler, and may the Archon’s grace be ever upon you! (Oh, and watch out for those Electro-Charged enemies – they can be quite a shock!)

Role & Strengths Analysis
Character Role: Mavuika is a flexible Pyro/DMG dealer, capable of dishing out DMG both on and off the battlefield by activating her Special Skill. On the other hand, her Ultimate Ability delivers massive damage (her highest output), but its effectiveness heavily relies on a Natlan character to fuel the Fighting Spirit; she doesn’t require Energy for this.
Method 1 using Skill (Ring of Searing Radiance): Activate this skill and it will produce a ring that trails behind your characters, attacking enemies with Pyro damage as they move. This mode works great with main DPS characters like Mualani or Kinich from Natlan. Simply press ‘E’ for Mavuika and switch to other DPS characters. The ring’s attack interval is every 2 seconds, providing a decent pace for most teams. Enjoy the pyro reactions!
Note: Although not extremely fast, the ring’s attack interval should suffice for most team compositions.
Method 2 (Utilizing Ability): To mount Flamestrider, simply press and hold Mavuika’s ability. Once mounted, her normal/charge/plunge attacks will transform to deal Pyro damage that is uninterruptible. This mode is ideal for those who prefer Mavuika as the primary DPS. You can either tap the skill twice quickly or just maintain the hold on the skill to ride the bike.
Note: If you keep holding Mavuika’s ability, the Ring of Searing Radiance will automatically activate, eliminating any concerns about additional damage from the ring!
Method 3 (via Burst): Mavuika unleashes intense burst damage and subsequently enters the Nightsoul’s Blessing state, enabling her to ride her bike, Flamestrider, to inflict area-of-effect Pyro damage for a duration of 7 seconds.
Notably, Mavuika does not rely on Energy but Fighting Spirit. There are two ways to replenish her Fighting Spirit:
1) Consumption of Nightsoul points by party members, which necessitates having Natlan characters in the party. This is why it’s crucial to include at least one Natlan character in your party composition.
2) Gaining Fighting Spirit through normal attacks by party members. Mavuika receives 1.5 units of Fighting Spirit every 0.1 seconds whenever her allies attack opponents.
After activating her Elemental Burst, Mavuika’s ability enhances the damage dealt by the active character, increasing it up to 40%. However, the extent of this DMG Bonus is influenced by the amount of Fighting Spirit she has beforehand. This underlines the significance of Natlan team members since they can generate Fighting Spirit more swiftly compared to the Normal Attacks of non-Natlan characters.
Pulling Recommendations
Pro (Strength)
● Equally effective as a primary Damage Dealer (Main DPS) with the right backup, or a secondary Damage Dealer (Sub-DPS) for multiple teams.
● Delivers immense Pyro damage through her Burst and offers team damage enhancements.
● A smart investment for the future. You can count on her being relevant in the game’s meta for an extended period.
Con (Drawback)
In order for her Burst (which amplifies damage to active characters and deals significant damage) to function effectively, it heavily depends on Natlan’s characters to quickly build up the Fighting Spirit. While normal attacks will also contribute to filling her Fighting Spirit, it won’t be as rapid when using characters outside of the Natlan team.
Also, note that the duration for Crucible of Death and Life (the state she enters after Burst activation) is brief (7 seconds), but the cooldown period for her Burst is relatively long (18 seconds).
Should you pull for Mavuika?
● Yes, if you’re an ardent fan of Mavuika or Archon characters.
● Yes, if you’re a Traveler seeking a strong Pyro Main DPS for your team, particularly when you have Natlan support like Citlali/Xilonen for her premium team. Ororon and Kachina are acceptable alternatives, but expect a slight reduction in damage output.
● Yes, if you’re a Traveler with Natlan as your Main DPS, such as Mualani and Kinich. By tapping E Skill and switching to Natlan DPS, you can enjoy Pyro off-field applications and reactions.
● No, if you’re a Traveler who isn’t fond of Mavuika. A general rule of thumb is to only pull for the characters you like.
● No, if you’re a Traveler who doesn’t require a Pyro DPS or Sub-DPS. If you’re loyal to Bennett or Xiangling and prefer not to get the real Archon, then don’t pull for Mavuika.
Should you pull for her weapon?
If you still have some Primogems spare, I’d recommend using them. This weapon is an excellent fit for Mavuika since it boosts Crit Rate, Critical Damage, and Attack – often referred to as the ‘holy trio’. These bonuses are even amplified if the user is in Nightsoul’s Blessing (also known as Natlan characters or Mavuika), and it continues to work when the user is out of the active field!
How many constellations should you go for?
If you’re playing for free, having Character Level 0 (C0) is sufficient. Even with C0, you can still experience massive Burst damage and benefit from her Ultimate’s Damage Bonus.
However, if you prefer to invest money or are incredibly fortunate, upgrading to Character Level 2 (C2) could be a fantastic choice.
Character Level 1 (C1): This increases Nightsoul points to 120, making it easier and faster for her to trigger Burst and gain Fighting Spirit. Additionally, when she gains Fighting Spirit, Mavuika will receive a 40% boost in Attack.
Character Level 2 (C2): Upon entering Nightsoul’s Blessing state (triggered by using Burst), your character will receive an increased Base Attack and the following buffs: The Ring of Searing Radiance now reduces the opponent’s Defense by 20%, and the damage after using Burst will also increase. Overall, it’s a great advantage to upgrade to C2.
C0R1 or C1/C2R0 or Teammates?
Hey there, fellow traveler of Teyvat! As a long-time adventurer who has traversed the land and battled countless enemies, I’ve learned a thing or two about the best strategies for success in Genshin Impact. When it comes to Mavuika, my personal preference is based on my own experiences with her in various team compositions.
First and foremost, if you’re lacking suitable teammates for Mavuika but don’t want to invest in C1 yet, I’d recommend either waiting for Citlali or Xilonen’s rerun banner, as they make excellent partners for our beloved Cryo Catalyst.
If you already have a good claymore weapon for Mavuika, such as Whiteblind, Serpent Spine, Verdict Beowulf, or any other powerful options, then I strongly suggest going for C1 and aiming for C2 if possible. The benefits of the constellations are just too good to pass up!
However, if you’ve got great teammates but don’t have another suitable claymore for Mavuika, go ahead and invest in her signature weapon. It will serve her well on the battlefield and help her reach her full potential.
All things considered, I believe that choosing Citlali or Xilonen over the constellations is the way to go. But ultimately, the decision is yours, traveler. May your journey through Teyvat be filled with adventure, friendship, and victories!
